If the antenna connector is loose, could that cause the GNSS module to see no satellites at all?
Yes. A loose connector can cause two problems: first, the signal cannot travel properly from the antenna to the module;second, the antenna bias voltage from the module cannot reach the antenna (so an active antenna won't work. Please checkthat the antenna-to-cable connection is tightened and the cable is fully inserted and locked into the module (for SMAconnectors, tighten firmly).
